Vintage Black Friday 2

It is time for another Vintage Black Friday at Gypsy Brocante.  Today I thought I would give you a little look at our library/Mr. Hughes' office.

This is a lovely vintagy black frame that I painted and Mr. Hughes blew up a vintage notebook cover and we framed it.

Here is another vintage frame that I painted black and framed this really neat vintage handtinted photo.

The vintage typewriter that Mr. Hughes is quite attached to... I would love to move it by the doorway so that guests could leave us notes before they leave.  But, I am not allowed to move it!

And, here is our black globe and a couple of vintage trophies.

Okay, now go see all the other party goers that are bringing the black.

  2. i am totally in love with the typewriter. I have a vintage Royal typewriter and now I'm looking to add to my collection. I can see why Mr.Hughes is so attached.

  5. Great idea painting the frames and blowing up the book cover as art ... everything in the office really "pops" so nicely against those amazing apple green walls!

  11. What a lovely idea to have guests leaving you notes when leaving. Surely, Mr. Hughes can understand that ;-) Just tell him it will be moved to an honorary place.

    Have a great weekend,
